The instruction manual for Pat Delaney’s Concrete Lathe Project is finally ready to be released into the wild for the first time. Grab it here:

You can also grab the latest Sketchup model from the wiki — I can’t host .skp’s on this site for now, sorry. Need to upgrade soon.

If you have questions or comments, the best place to get involved is on the Yahoo group.

This is the first time that all of the disparate ideas, concepts, techniques, drawings, models, thoughts, side notes, and speculation generated by Pat and all the others working on the project has been brought into one place and presented in a single file. There is of course an enormous volume of material that necessarily hasn’t been included, but this is a start.

It’s been a huge learning experience for me (post on that coming soon), and I’m really grateful to have been involved with this project. I’ll certainly be doing work on it as it progresses and evolves; this is still just the beginning.
